Biography

    • Yolanda Lievana started in show business when she was a teenager, in 1969. In this year she made her first film and started to work in radio stations. Soon she had the chance to co-host festival OTI with Raul Velazco and started to be very popular. She started to do graphic novels (Fotonovelas) and become a regular cast actress in the comedy series Los Polivoces,even through many people say she was the reason why the Polivoces split. At this point she started to be a great Vedette and has many sold out cabaret shows, and almost made a film by year. Her best remembered in theater was the satirical role was that of Dona Ines in Don Juan Tenorio with Loco Valdes in 1977 approach the success of the TV show Variedades De Medianoche because she appears frequently,also she stars with wrestler star Blue Demon the movie Vuelven Los Campeones Justicieros and Peor Que Las Fieras with Mario Almada. And in her best years (1975-1983) she appears in practically everything. Specially in 1978 she have one of her best years,because appears in over 100 episodes of Variedades De Medianoche,also she start her team with Luis De Alba in a string of very successful movies starts in 1978 with Al Cabo Que Ni Queria(1978)A Que Le Tiras Cuando Sueñas Mexicano(1979)Ni Modo Asi Somos(1980,also have the leading role in the musical TV program Musicalisimo Del 4 among Veronica Castro,Jorge Alberto Riancho and Marina Dorell.Her cabaret shows was sold out shows.And win 8 millions of pesos in the Mexican lottery(in that time a huge fortune)and made another success movie Mexicano Hasta Las Cachas(premiers in 1979)sign a millionaire contract with record label Orfeon and good sales for a ballads album.

      In 1986 she became pregnant and decided to retire for almost 20 years because she wanted to raise her daughter. In 2004 she made a comeback with the album Se me Antoja and started to do shows again. Despite the passing years she has retained her good looks.And in 2007 she prepares another album and show,and all her movie catalog was release in DVD.
