- (1968) Wrote the libretto for 'The Survival of St. Joan', a rock opera with music by Hank and Gary Ruffin. performed by Smoke Rise (Hank Ruffin, Gary Ruffin, Stan Ruffin, Randy Bugg) and then revised for Broadway, (1970) where it had seventeen performances, receiving a negative critical reaction for using rock music in a period piece, possibly by intimidated critics, as the New York City chapter of the Hell's Angels filled the front rows at each performance. A full concert LP recording was released by ABC/Paramount in 1971.
