Glenda Linscott is a English-Australian Actress, Director, Writer, Voice Artist and Teacher. Linscott is best known for her roles on Australian award winning prison drama Prisoner (1979) as tough bikie inmate Rita 'The Beater' Connors during the series last two years, Linscott would research the role of Connors by extensive research of correctional facilities and bikie gangs. Linscott would also have parts in Murder Call (1997), Neighbours (1985), Winners & Losers (2011) and many more.

Glenda is also an accomplished voice artist and is a teacher at the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts as the head of acting.

Emigrated to Adelaide, Australia when she was a child

On winning the role of Rita Connors in <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt0077064/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Prisoner (1979)</a>, Linscott visited the Silverwater Women&#39;s Correctional Centre (formerly known as the Mulawa Correctional Centre) to discuss the part, and prison life in general, with inmates.
