- German-Jewish actress, on stage from 1925. A committed communist, she left Germany during the Nazi era. She later made wartime propaganda broadcasts for Radio Moscow. After 1945, Loebinger settled in East Berlin, appearing in proletarian roles in films for Defa and on stage at the Deutschen Theater, the Maxim-Gorki-Theater and the Kleine Theater unter den Linden.
- When Hitler rose in Germany the ardent communist Lotte Loebinger had to leave her country and emigrated to Moscow. There she worked for the radio and took part in the movie "Borzi - Kämpfer" (1936).

- After the war she returned to Germany and choose the Soviet occupying zone where she concentrated to the theater again. But she also impersonated some roles in the early post-war movies, so in "Irgendwo in Berlin" (1946), "Ehe im Schatten" (1947) and "Strassenbekanntschaft" (1948).
