After a career as a professional dancer with Ballet Hispanico of New York and
later with the Metropolitan Opera Ballet, Donald began acting on stage
with the prestigious Spanish Repertory Theater in New York City. He later transitioned into commercials, independent films and
TV. After partnering with René Veilleux and co-founding Verité Films,
Donald began directing and then producing a number of projects,
including the feature film The Putt Putt Syndrome. As a writer, Donald
has adapted a number of Japanese anime series, such as, Zoids Genesis,
Honey and Clover, Buso Renkin, and Monster, as well as, the Korean
animated series Cobots and the Russian feature film The Snow Queen.
Donald adapted a Peruvian animated project based on an environmental
initiative recognized by UNESCO titled Ania's Magical Garden for Peru.
As the Head of Creative and Development of Verité Films, LLC, Donald is
spearheading development on a number of animated project, a variety of
scripted and unscripted TV series, as well as, a slate of feature
films.
