Vera Lund(1910-1986)

Vera Lund was born December 8th 1910 in Sweden and passed away February
28th 1986, 76 years later, in Stockholm, Sweden. Miss Lund succeeded
early. At the age of 20, in the year 1930 the natural beauty was
carefully chosen by a Californian film-company to work for them in
Hollywood filming orange and orange-juice commercials. Vera Lund's
first husband was the famous Swedish writer and poet, Mr. Einar Halm.
Together they translated many different books from French, German and
English into Swedish. A book to be mentioned would be "I WANT TO GO
HOME" by the authors Richard and Frances Lockridge. The Swedish title
was called "Du kommer aldrig hem". Her second husband was the Swedish
journalist and writer, Mr. Harald Hultman. Vera Lund and Harald Hultman
were devoted friend of the Swedish legend Zarah Leander (The Most
Beautiful Girl in the World). Lund was also a recording artist for His
Master's Voice and Kristall Records in Sweden.
