Stage and screen actress, she had a daughter, Gladys Lynn-Gautier (September 22, 1922 - 2002), , from her companion director and silent actor Henri Roussel. After a short career as an actress like her mother, Gladys retired in 1946 to marry writer and french academic member Jean-Jacques Gautier. In 1936, Emmy Lynn married wealthy manufacturer Charles Peignot (1897 - 1983) who survived her.
