Tonia Barber, during her seven years as the Executive Director of Dance Camera West in Los Angeles, presented Kargman (First Position), Tomer Heymann (Mr. Gaga) as well as top dance companies Pilobolus and BODYTRAFFIC. Barber produced film indies Interstate 84 starring Kevin Dillon, premiering at the Toronto Film Festival and race car indie, QuattroNoza directed by Joey Curtis, winning Best Cinematography at Sundance, followed by directing her own short film Raw, premiering at Sundance and AFI. Barber recently produced Oscar-nominated Matthew Diamond's sacred dance documentary titled EXALTATION capturing religious dance in 17-countries in partnership with UNESCO. Barber continues to create and direct content for brands, think tanks and feature film projects. Barber's teen career started with a full scholarship at the Joffrey Ballet in New York, performing on the Broadway stage, in "42nd Street" and was cast as an original cast member in Tommy Tune's "The Will Rogers Follies."
