Manuel E. Lopez Monroy is a mexican film director and screenwriter. He studied at Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematograficos (CUEC) and the Fine Arts School of the National University of Mexico before attending the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (CSC)in Rome to study film under instructors as Sergio Leone and Mario Monicelli. He attending film curses in New York Univeristy, USA and Social Communication in Milan, Italy. He has also a master degree in Art History. He lives and work in Mexico City.
