Aleksey Makarov was born on 15 February 1972 in Omsk, Omskaya oblast, RSFSR, USSR [now Russia]. He is an actor, known for The Rifleman of the Voroshilov Regiment (1999), The Three Musketeers (2013) and Lichnyy nomer (2004).

He is the son of the late Soviet-era musician and poet Valeriy Makarov and the late Soviet-era actress <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0689189/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Lyubov Polishchuk</a>.

He has been a member of the troupe of the Mossovet Theater in Moscow, Russia, since joining in 1994.
