Not many artists get to experience as many pop lives as Teddy Geiger. She was a teen idol by 16, with a mushy soft-rock hit, “For You I Will (Confidence),” on her hands. At 19, she starred as the romantic lead opposite future Oscar winner Emma Stone in the comedy The Rocker. After an early retirement at 21, she took a few steps back out of the spotlight and began writing songs for and with other artists, most famously becoming one of the names behind Shawn Mendes’ biggest hits (“Stitches,” “Treat You Better”).

After singer Pink's high-flying performance at Sunday's Grammy Awards, her single sales are now soaring as well. Her "Glitter in the Air" went from being an obscure album track on her 2008 album "Funhouse" to the top 10 on iTunes.
The ballad "Glitter in the Air," written by Pink and frequent collaborator Billy Mann, is currently at #10 on the digital retailers chart and is expected to climb, making it Pink's biggest digital hit since "Sober." "Sober," currently at #80, climbed all the way up to #15 on the Billboard Hot 100, her sixth consecutive Top 20 single on the chart. "Glitter in the Air" is also currently in the Top 20 songs of AmazonMP3.
Pink was named the best performance of the night by various media and greeted with a standing ovation following her performance of the album track. If the song is officially released as a single, it would be the "Funhouse" album's sixth worldwide single.

The big screen adaptation of Land Of The Lost opens today. Like many of Wil Ferrell's films, it seems to be an acquired taste, with a lackluster script helped by the raunchy humor of Ferrell and McBride, but it all adding up to not that much.
Roger Ebert says: "....Confronted with such effects, the actors make not the slightest effort to appear terrified, amazed or sometimes even mildly concerned. Some might consider that a weakness. I suspect it is more of a deliberate choice, and I say I enjoyed it."
Rolling Stone counters: "...Will Ferrell and Danny McBride can find the dumb fun in anything. Too bad that Land of the Lost is so much less than anything.
So it's up to you. After my morobid encounter with Terminator 4, I think I'm going to let this one wait until it hits DVD. As weak as the production values are for the original,...

For many gay and bisexual men of a certain age, the first inkling that they weren’t like other boys came on Saturday mornings from 1974 to 1976, in the form of a television show called The Land of the Lost. The show, about a father and his two children who were stranded in a mysterious land of dinosaurs, also featured vicious, but curiously slow-moving reptilian humanoids called Sleestak. Now the classic kids’ program by Sid and Marty Krofft, the producers of H.R. Pufnstuf and Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, has even been made into a feature film starring Will Ferrell, opening this Friday.
But it wasn’t just the gloriously campy-even-at-the-time nature of the show itself that appealed to gay boys. It was also the fact that it featured the role of Will, the Marshall’s handsome teenage son, played by an actor billed only as “Wesley,” but whose full name is Wesley Eure.

In 2008, Pink returns to the music scene with her fifth major studio album "Funhouse". The effort lines up Al Clay, Billy Mann, Butch Walker, Danja, Greg Wells, and Max Martin as her team on the production table. The first single off the record is entitled "So What" and shares the story of the singer's separation from motocross racer, Carey Hart, whom she married in early 2006. "I think it's really ironic that it's this kind of subject matter, and it's my first No. 1," Pink says.
Since released on August 15, "So What" has reached number one on numerous charts in several countries, including Australia, Canada, German, and Ireland as well as U.K. and U.S. Beside helping her scooping the charts' reigns, "So What" also helps her working out a healthy friendship with her ex-husband. "It's helped both of us, because we had to figure out how we could have a really,...
