Dario Markovic(I)

Born in Zenica (Bosnia Herzegovina) he graduated comparative literature at the University of Zagreb (Croatia) and than got his M. A. in film studies at the same university. He became one of the most prominent Croatian film critics, editor-in-chief of the magazine "Kinoteka" (in the eighties and the nineties) and editor and anchor of several television programms about film in general and Croatian film in the specific. He was also a president of the Croatian Society of Film Critics (part of FIPRESCI).
