    • Marc Marriott is an award-winning producer/director of television and film and a member of the Producers Guild. At the start of his career, Marriott lived in Japan and apprenticed with renowned Japanese filmmaker Yoji Yamada. Tokyo Cowboy is Marriott's first feature film as a director. Marriott won the Emerging Director Award at the St Louis International Film Festival. Tokyo Cowboy won Best Narrative Feature and the Audience Choice award at the Tallgrass Film Festival. During his professional career, Marriott has earned a reputation as a specialist in stories of real people in extraordinary situations; from the History Channel's Ax Men, to the Discovery Channel's Roush Racing: Driver X. He's been a Series producer and Director for The Discovery Channel, History Channel, FOX, VH1, TLC, and The Travel Channel, among others. He has earned a reputation as a creative and innovative storyteller, emphasizing real people in extraordinary situations; from the dangerous world of logging in History Channel's "Ax Men," to the high-octane world of NASCAR racing in Discovery Channel's "Roush Racing: Driver X." He's been a series producer and director for The Discovery Channel, the History Channel, FOX, VH1, TLC, The Travel Channel, and ESPN. Marriott directed and produced feature content for Walt Disney's video release of the feature film "Christopher Robin."

      Marc Marriott is a graduate of the Masters directing program at UCLA. From the time that his first film, Short Order, won the "Prix Canal Plus" at the Henri Langlois International Film Festival in France, to his appearance at the Cannes film festival with his film, The Snow Child, Marriott's productions have appeared in over 21 international film festivals, winning the Independent Film Channel Award, a Collegiate Emmy Award, and the Jimmy Stewart Crystal Heart Award from the Heartland Film Festival. At UCLA, he was the recipient of the James Bridges Award in Film Directing, the top award given by the graduate film program at UCLA.
