Social media users have a lot of questions about Carrie Underwood and her planned performance during Donald Trump‘s inauguration.
The 41-year-old country music singer and American Idol judge was announced as a performer at the big event last week. According to a schedule at the time, she was going to sing “America the Beautiful” between Jd Vance and the President Elect giving their oaths of office.
However, both president and vice president have been sworn in, and Carrie still has not appeared.
Keep reading to find out more…
“Wait… wasn’t Carrie Underwood supposed to sing at the inauguration? Where is she,” one social media on X (formerly Twitter) asked. Others posed similar questions.
Another wrote, “Where is Carrie underwood? They better not have cut her after all the hate she has endured.”
One user speculated that she got “bumped for time.”

The hit Fox musical-soap opera hybrid made her a household name playing Quinn Fabray, launching her into feature roles such as "I Am Number Four." For her latest work, Agron is again in the halls of academe, but this time with a decidedly darker bent.

She may have a new name to shield her from the enemies of her father (played by Robert De Niro), but she can't suppress the clever and brutal instincts that come from years of growing up the offspring of a hitman. A number of top-level celebrities are reportedly following in Stevie Wonder's footsteps and plan to boycott Florida in protest of the state's "Stand Your Ground" laws. The list, which was first reported by Aurn's April Ryan and credited a "a source close to Wonder," includes the likes of Madonna, Usher, Kanye West, Jay Z, Rihanna and Rod Stewart.
Wonder announced his intention to boycott any state with "Stand Your Ground" laws after George Zimmerman after a jury acquitted George Zimmerman in the 2012 killing of unarmed Florida teen Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman did not invoke the "Stand Your Ground" defense in the trial, though it did figure into the police's decision not to not arrest Zimmerman for weeks after the incident. Additionally, the "Stand Your Ground" defense appeared in instructions to jurors, and a juror cited the law in explaining the not-guilty verdict.

On Tuesday, Conan O'Brien introduced "Comedy For DVRs," a segment that is basically a little Easter egg for all of us who do nothing for his Nielson ratings (yet).
The only way to enjoy the joke, you see, is to pause... and pause... and pause.
This inaugural gag was called "Rejected Game Of Thrones" characters and, like SNL's "Fox & Friends" corrections, it's a long list that flies by way too fast to read. Fortunately, we had nothing better to do than painstakingly transcribe the full list, and we're here to tell you, it was worth it.
Watch the clip above, then check out the rejected names below and let us know which are your favorites. Personally, we're holding out hope that one day "Lady Sideboob Of Huffington" and "K.D. Langister" turn up on GoT.

Here's a Planet Fury-approved selection of notable genre DVD releases for the months of February and March 2013.
The Blob (1958) Criterion Collection Blu-ray & DVD Available Now
This entertaining low-budget favorite gets some well-deserved respect from the folks at Criterion. A gelatinous creature from outer space begins to devour the inhabitants of a small town. Each time it consumes a new body, it grows bigger. A couple of teens (including the wooden Steve McQueen) attempt to warn the town and save the population from certain blech! Irvin S. Yeaworth Jr. directs the mayhem with a sure hand while Bart Sloane's great special effects still pack a punch. Followed by the bizarre comedy sequel, Son of Blob, in the early ’70s (directed by Larry Hagman!) and a great, underrated remake in 1988 by Chuck Russell.
Special Features:
* New high-definition digital restoration, with uncompressed monaural soundtrack
* Two audio commentaries: one by producer Jack H. Harris...

Exclusive: We tv has greenlighted Glam & Gold, a docu-series starring Olympic gold medalist Sanya Richards-Ross and her husband, NFL star Aaron Ross. The network has ordered six hourlong episodes to premiere this summer. Filming on the series has begun in Austin and Jacksonville. Glam & Gold joins We tv’s lineup of African American-starring shows including Braxton Family Values, Mary Mary, Tamar & Vince and L.A. Hair. Glam & Gold chronicles the often intense rivalry between the hyper competitive couple who met in college — four-time gold medalist Richards-Ross, who won two golds in London last summer, and her husband, a two-time Super Bowl champion who signed a three-year, $15 million contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars last year. Each episode follows Sanya as she juggles appearances, runs a business, and balances life with Aaron and her own family who make up her team including mom Sharon, acting as her agent; dad, Archie, who serves as her manager; her sister,...

Carrie Underwood is on a roll. The former "American Idol" champ will land her third #1 debut in a row next week when Blown Away easily tops the Billboard 200 tally. Underwood sold 267,000 copies of her fourth effort, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan, which was more than enough to hold off Norah Jones , whose Danger Mouse-produced Little Broken Hearts will come in at #2 on sales of 110,000.
There were plenty of other new faces in the top 10, including Now 42 (#3, 95,000), "So Good" rapper B.o.B's Strange Clouds (#5, 76,000), the cast album for the NBC show "Smash" (#9, 39,000) and veteran shock rocker Marilyn Manson's Born Villain (#10, 38,000).

Atlanta -- If you thought a Mary Mary reality show would focus on gospel songs and Bible study, think again.
There's plenty of raised voices, hurt feelings and snide comments on the gospel duo's self-titled WEtv series, which debuted this week. While the craziness doesn't rise to the level of an episode of "Basketball Wives," Erica and Tina Campbell say it's enough to show people that despite their Christian faith, they're far from perfect people.
"There is a great level of dysfunction," said Erica, who is an executive producer of "Mary Mary" with Tina. "We're real sisters. We're black sisters with egos and strong personalities. But what we do know is that our mission and message is much bigger than that."
The hour-long, 10-episode series delves into the personal lives of the Grammy-winning group as they seek to balance their own households as mothers and wives while promoting their music.

A gospel brunch on the 28th floor of the Millbank Tower on London’s South Bank was something I approached with equal parts trepidation, cynicism and anxious excitement. Most thrilling to me was the opportunity to see London from a great height whilst enjoying some good food and drink, but, to be honest, I wasn’t sure how I’d fare with the gospel music. I guess, to be honest, it’s because this was a Sunday and I was having flashbacks to my childhood and my Church of England schooling. In contrast to that, however, I have always enjoyed the sound and soul of gospel music and it is a world removed from the drab hymns of my youth, so I don’t know why I was a tad tentative going into this.

So here are a few things you probably didn't know about Melanie Amaro:
Age: 19
Hometown: Sunrise, Fl
Coach: Simon Cowell
Musical Influences: Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Tina Turner
Favorite Album: "The Sound" by Mary Mary
On what it's like having Simon Cowell has her coach: He's so understanding about everything and he gives his honest opinion about a lot of things. Whether it's the way you perform or the way you're feeling, he senses it and he says, "If you're not comfortable, then speak up so we can work on it."
On her performing past: I've done a couple school plays.
