Stefan Ivanov Mavrodiyev-Mavro is Bulgarian theater and cinema actor and director. Born in Varna, his father was a teacher and actor in the Varna theater, and his mother sang in the Opera House. Stefan Mavrodiyev gradated National Academy of Theater and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria in classes of Metodi Andonov in 1967. He has played more than 50 roles in cinema. Among the most famous films in which it participates are "24 hours of rain," "Measure For Measure", "Zone B-2," "Friday Night", "Cricket in the Ear", "Birds and Hounds" and others.
He has played in Plovdiv Theater, then on the stage Theatre 199, in Satire, in the National Theatre, but mostly he played on the stage of the Youth Theatre. Plays featuring Stefan Mavrodiev are "Mousetrap" , "Two Gentlemen of Verona" , "Children of the World', ' Great Guys ', 'Black Comedy ', ' Golovans", "Cola Bryonon", "Sunshine Boys" "Love and Money", "Fanny - Financial Agony of Individual ', ' Mr Balkan", "Airport", "Wanted Star Clown ', ' Distorting Mirror ', "Cinecittà" , "Kitchen", "Four". Very popular is his play "Yesterday".
