Parris is a Local 600 camera operator and a member of the Society of Camera
Operators (SOC). He also operates Steadicam and worked as a camera operator on multiple commercials, feature movies such as DEN OF THIEVES, ISN'T IT ROMANTIC and A DOG'S PURPOSE and television shows such as DEAD CITY, EVIL, IKWYDLS, BLUE BLOODS, SWEETBITTER, ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, THE AMERICANS, GOTHAM, NEW AMSTERDAM, THE CODE, FBI, as well as dozens of music videos.
Parris directed over 40 videos including Onyx's "Slam" the longest running #1 video on MTV ever!
Parris Mayhew is the son of country music Legend Aubrey Mayhew. Parris graduated from the High School of Art and Design and then earned a BFA from the School of Visual Arts Film School in New York City.
Parris was the guitarist, songwriter and founding member of New York hardcore legends Cro-Mags.
