Three of the films he's written scripts for have won the Oscar for Best Actor:
The Theory of Everything (2014),
Darkest Hour (2017), and
Bohemian Rhapsody (2018). All three films were also nominated for the Best Picture Oscar and all three films were stories about real life personalities (Stephen Hawking, Winston Churchill and Freddie Mercury).
