Brian McConnachie was born on 23 December 1942 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA. He was a writer and actor, known for Caddyshack (1980), Celebrity (1998) and Strange Brew (1983). He was married to Ann Crilly. He died on 5 January 2024 in Venice, Florida, USA.

Died only six days after the body of his Caddyshack co-star Cindy Morgan was found dead. Both were living in Florida when they died.
