Harold McCord(1893-1957)

In 1911, McCord got into the movie business in New York when he landed a job as a lab technician with the Kalem Co. He went out to the West Coast in 1915 with the Selznick Co. and became a cutter. He held the post of head of Warners' film editing department for 33 years, resigning in the summer of 1956. He died just over a year later.
