Warning: contains spoilers for The Traitors Episode 1.
New reality series The Traitors involves getting a group of strangers to form judgmental cliques, gossip behind each other’s backs and make accusations of wrongdoing, so yes, it’s a bit ‘shooting fish in a barrel’. Did the BBC even need to hire a castle? Set up cameras in the break room of any given workplace and you’ll get largely the same footage, give or take occasional scenes of giant wicker deer on fire as part of the tasks this lot also have to do to build their up-to-£120,000 prize fund.
Among Us-style, the game takes three of 20 contestants and makes them the titular Traitors, who have to evade detection while bumping off their fellow players one by one every night. Meanwhile, the ‘Faithful’ (everybody else) have to detect who the Traitors are and eliminate them in a toe-curling daily group...

Jibri Bell acted up in all kinds of ways at the Season 9 of 90 Day Fiance Tell All. Most notably, he instigated arguments with his fellow castmates and made digs and threw shade at them.
During his unabashed and unapologetic antics, Jibri was giving his unsolicited opinions on the other couples and the chances they had at having successful relationships.
He slammed Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre as incompatible and also trashed Bilal Hazziez and Shaeeda Sween as a bad couple.
Jibri declared Yve Arellano and Mohamed Abdelhamed as the couple he thought would succeed the most and doubled down by asserting that his predictions are often correct.
At the end of the Tell All, however, 90 Day viewers learned about Mohamed’s infidelity after intimate and inappropriate messages between him and another woman surfaced.

The Australian screen industry is on the “precipice of change” in giving more – and long overdue – recognition to Indigenous people and People of Colour creatives and stories, according to Penny Smallacombe.
As the head of Indigenous at Screen Australia, the Maramanindji woman who hails from the Northern Territory herself is an agent of change via a number of ongoing programs and upcoming new initiatives.

Sam Frost won't stand for this latest retouching scandal. The former Maxim model and radio talk show co-host spoke out on her 2DayFM show with Rove McManus, describing new claims that the men's magazine she posed for in February 2015 is reusing her old shots for the December issue on newsstands Thursday. To add insult to injury, Frost is also alleging the sultry shots have been manipulated through photoshop to make them look current while also creating unrealistic representations of her body. "I'm smack bang right on the front cover, implying that I've done a second photoshoot, I've returned to Maxim. They've actually photoshopped my hair dark because I was blond...

After The Seventh Victim‘s disappointing returns, Val Lewton and Rko clashed over their next project. Lewton wanted a comedy, provisionally titled The Amorous Ghost, as a change of pace; studio boss Sid Rogell, Lewton’s bete noir, insisted on a sequel to Cat People, which Lewton resisted. Then Rko suggested a Universal-style monster rally, They Creep By Night, reuniting villains from past Lewton pictures. Charles Koerner rescued Lewton from this absurd prospect by pitching a maritime thriller. “Call it The Ghost Ship,” Koerner ordered. Lewton also scored a big, though past-his-prime star in Richard Dix, an Oscar nominee for Cimarron (1931).
The result is equal parts The Sea Wolf and M, with a dash of Edgar Allan Poe. Tom Miriam signs on as third officer on the ill-starred freighter Altair, ruled by Captain Stone (Richard Dix). At first Stone merely seems strict, but his homilies about authority take on a...

The Quare Land Written by John McManus Directed by Ciarán O’Reilly Irish Repertory Theatre DR2 Theatre, NYC 9/22 - 11/15, 2015
Our final review from this year's 1st Irish Festival in New York City brings us another strong production: The Quare Land, by County Cavan playwright John McManus. McManus’s two-man comedy takes place entirely within the upstairs room of Hugh Pugh's rural Cavan farmhouse (a superb set by Charlie Corcoran). The room's single naked lightbulb illuminates a chimney, record player, toilet, and, most importantly, a clawfoot bathtub. Under a thick layer of bubbles in that tub, 90 year-old bachelor and Enya fan Hugh (actor and writer Peter Maloney) is taking his first bath in 4 years in anticipation of a visit by his alcoholic brother when receives an unexpected visit from Rob McNulty (Rufus Collins). Hugh checks his mail far less often than he bathes, so hotel and construction company owner Rob has...

It seems Kim Kardashian's recent nude, full-frontal photo shoot gave her the confidence to wear latex on the red carpet.
The 34-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star donned a figure-hugging pale pink latex dress for the Fleur Fatale fragrance launch at Spice Market on Tuesday, Nov. 18, in Melbourne, Australia, putting all her curves on display.

Kim Kardashian proved that, yes, she can really balance a Champagne glass on her butt like she did for her now-infamous Paper magazine photo shoot, and she's willing to share her secrets with the world. The reality star made an appearance on Australia's The Project on Tuesday to open up about her Internet-breaking stunt with photographer Jean-Paul Goude. After host Rove McManus asked Kim if the Champagne butt shot was photoshop, she clarified that it was indeed real and that her "back hurt for a week after the shoot" due to the intense pose. "It was definitely not comfortable, and things were falling all over the place," she added. Kim then agreed to show Rove, although she added that it might not work because he doesn't have "as big of a butt as I do." Watch the hilarious balancing act above and hear more from Kim about why she did the shoot.

Fox has cancelled Riot, their new comedy improv series, after four episodes.
Hosted by Rove McManus, Riot is an unscripted show that pairs guest celebrities with a group of regular players for comedy song, dance, and sketch challenges. The regulars are John Ross Bowie, Jamie Denbo, Brian Palermo, Jordan Black, Jessica McKenna, Meryl Hathaway and Rob Gleeson.
The show debuted in mid-May to a dismal 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.34 million viewers. The numbers have gone up and down since then but have all been terrible.
The network has pulled the show from the schedule effective immediately, along with I Wanna Marry "Harry". The four remaining episodes may surface at some point in the future but there are currently no plans. Reruns of Fox comedies will fill the timeslot for the time being.

Fox is hoping that viewers find their new Riot TV series to be hilarious so that they keep watching each week. However, television is a serious business and it's the ratings that matter. Will Riot be a ratings success and be renewed for a second season or, will it be cancelled instead? Stay tuned.

I think it’s safe to say that Steve Carell is a master of physical comedy. This is the man who famously once waxed his chest hair on the big screen. Fox made a big spring and summer scheduling announcement on Wednesday (March 26) afternoon, but the only thing anybody on my Twitter feed wanted to discuss was the fact that after this Friday, "Enlisted" is off the schedule, at least for the foreseeable future. So let's get that out of the way. Fox had already scheduled an hour-long series finale for "Raising Hope" for April 4, so "Enlisted" was off the schedule for next week anyway. But Fox revealed on Wednesday that "Kitchen Nightmares" will premiere on April 11 in that 9 p.m. hour. This isn't a huge shocker, folks. "Enlisted" no longer had a comedy partner for that hour, so was Fox going to air "Enlisted" and an "Enlisted" encore? "Enlisted" and a random repeat? Who would that benefit? So "Enlisted" will return. Fox emphasizes this. We just don't know when. Now let's get down to the business of Fox premieres from May on.

I fully expect a lot of the jokes during YouTube Comedy Week to be ethically questionable and morally wrong, but at least one event during the week will be socially just. Comedy Gives Back, an organization that uses laughter to better the world, has teamed up with Jash to produce an "International Comedy show" on May 20th. The show will be on the Monday of Comedy Week, with Rob Delaney, Rove McManus, Greg Berhandt and Matt Kirshen performing. Tickets are free, as Comedy Gives Back will attempt to drum up support for its main project: a 24-hour live streamed comedy event that will go down on November 6. That event will work with the Malaria No More charity to help Africa fight the deadly disease, which kills thousands of the continent's inhabitants every day. To help promote the show, Comedy No More has released a promo video featuring Dane Cook, Kevin Nealon,...

Apparently a few boats weren't the only things to catch a little wind in their sails on the set of "Dawson's Creek."
James Van Der Beek recently told Australia's "Rove La" host Rove McManus that he remembers breaking wind while filming the iconic teen series -- only thing is, he'd never fess up to the dirty deed.
While discussing his current role on "Don't Trust The B---- in Apartment 23" (he scolds America for being "too prudish" to actually use the word "bitch") Van Der Beek also told McManus that he'd rather be known as a "dick" for playing a hyperbole of himself on the show than be referred to as "Dawson."

You can conclude a lot about the mood of a commercial network by how it stages its upfronts presentation.
My abiding memory of Ten’s event last year was watching them handing out portable televisions from the back of a lorry. In the style of an episode of Oprah, everybody who attended got one as they left.
Watching drunk media types wandering into the darkness of Sydney’s Hickson Road with electrical goods tucked under their arms, the image that popped into my mind was of the looters at the London riots a week before.
This year’s event from Ten was a less over-the-top, slightly more considered breakfast affair.
Meanwhile Seven’s was the over-the-top one this year – complete with indoor fireworks.
Nine had a small event this week around its in-house branded entertainment and integration operation Powered. But its main TV season preview is still a few weeks away.
