The original Emmerdale farmhouse has been put up for sale at £1.25 million, reports the Daily Mail. The property, called Lindley House, is located in Otley near Leeds and has been owned by couple Helen and John Bradbury since 1997. Helen revealed that fans would often show up at their front door on Emmerdale Farm location tours. "It has stopped now because the ITV series has moved on," she said. Sheila Mercier and Karl Davies are returning to Emmerdale for a special episode which will pay tribute to late actor Clive Hornby. Hornby, best remembered for playing Jack Sugden for 28 years on the ITV1 soap, passed away in July following a period of ill health. Show producers are now planning a special edition of the programme which will see the village bidding farewell to Jack at his funeral.
