Trivia

  • In 1994 he collaborated on the creation of Ambra Angiolini 's debut album T'appartengo .
  • In 1958, with Domenico Modugno, Migliacci coauthored the song "Nel blu, dipinto di blu", aka "Volare", which has become one of the most well-known Italian songs in the world. While the words of the title, "in the blue, painted blue," seem to make no sense, they actually do when one understands the inspiration for the song came out of a wine fueled vision of Franco's combining his memory of two Marc Chagall paintings and himself painted blue with the ability to fly.
  • He wrote for Mina , Milva , Gianni Meccia (of which he is also the discoverer and producer), Fred Bongusto , Rita Pavone , Giancarlo Guardabassi and Patty Pravo , but his greatest successes came with Gianni Morandi , for whom he wrote hits such as Andavo at one hundred miles an hour , Have your mother send you to get milk , On your knees and above all There was a boy who, like me, loved the Beatles and the Rolling Stones .
  • He worked in small parts in about 18 films.
  • In the 1980s he wrote the lyrics for his first two albums and the song Ancora for Eduardo De Crescenzo , which was brought to success in Europe by Charles Aznavour.
