(March 29 to May 13, 2003) He played the Great in Rinne Groff's play, "Orange Lemon Egg Canary: A Trick in Four Acts," in a Brown-Forman Series production at the Actors Theatre of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky with Wendy Rich Stetson (Henrietta); Nell Mooney (Trilby) and Roz Davis (Egypt) in the cast. Richard Furlong, Brian Nemiroff played the magician's assistants. Michael Sexton was director.

(2000 to 2001 season) He acted in Frederico Garcia Lorca's play, "Blood Wedding," in a Tyrone Guthrie Theater production at the Guthrie Lab Theater, Warehouse district, Minneapolis, Minnesota with Morena Baccarin in the cast. Lillian Garrett-Groag was translator. Marcela Kingman Lorca was director. Christine Jones was set designer. Paul Tazewell was costume designer. Jeff Bartlett was lighting designer. Pedro Cortes and Victor Zupanc were composers.
