'Rube' Miller was the stage name of Henry Miller Jr. (1889-1927) who died from a drug overdose in Mexico City. He acted in and directed Mutual Vogue comedies, often co-starring the actress Madge Kirby. Had previously worked at Kalem on the 'Ham and Bud' series.

Due to his drug addiction, Henry Miller Sr. had his son written out of his will.
