- Did Japanese dubs for movies and TV shows, such as The Rescuers (1977), Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980), The Concorde... Airport '79 (1979) (the dub broadcast on TV Asahi), Planet of the Apes (1968), and some of the James Bond and Godfather movies.
- The very last voice recording he ever did for the Dragon Ball franchise was, ironically, his character (Master Roshi) being killed by Majin Buu (it happened not long before he died.).
- Was the original dub voice of The Fat Controller/Sir Topham Hatt in Thomas & Friends (1984).
- He liked candy, and he always licked it in-between recording sessions.
