The older child of cowboy star
Tom Mix, Nadine Ruth Mix was a leading lady of second-feature westerns for Poverty Row outfits like Weiss Brothers and Resolute. After the demise of her Hollywood career, she joined her father's touring circus and wild west show. The enterprise went bankrupt in 1938 and Ruth subsequently disappeared from show business.
