Michael Monroe was born on 17 June 1962 in Helsinki, Finland. He is an actor and composer, known for Coneheads (1993), Punk - Tauti joka ei tapa (2008) and Koti-ikävä (2005). He has been married to Fagerholm Johanna since 3 July 2004. He was previously married to Jude Wilder.

Founder-member of rock band <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm1531811/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Hanoi Rocks</a>.

His father is the long-time YLE radio announcer <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm1620577/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Pentti Fagerholm</a>.
