Netflix’s Heartstopper returns for a third season set in the world of Alice Oseman’s joyful comics in October 2024.
Season 2 arrived over a year ago amid the dual Hollywood strikes, meaning that talent couldn’t promote the show as its sophomore installment followed up the success of Season 1 on the streamer. Season 2 signaled a shift to more serious subjects that will be broached in Season 3.
A school trip to Paris, some new faces and Prom as well as various new and familiar relationship dynamics were tested in Season 2. Here’s what to remember before Heartstopper Season 3 comes out.
Nick Wants to Come Out
Nick Nelson (Kit Connor), came out to his mom (Olivia Colman) at the end of Season 1, and he was working on proclaiming his bisexuality to others as well, like Imogen (Rhea Norwood), who he’d known for a long time. Charlie (Joe Locke) arranged a sleepover...

Emily in Paris became one of Netflix’s biggest hit series upon its release but I think it was also one of the most hated shows. Created by Darren Star, the romantic-comedy series stars Lily Collins as the title character, and the series is filled with stunning scenery, glamorous fashion moments, and beautiful and delicious-looking food. The first part of Emily in Paris Season 4 was recently released on Netflix with Part 2 coming out in September this year. So, if you loved all the glamour, romance, comedy, and drama in Emily in Paris here are some similar shows you should check out while waiting for Emily in Paris Season 4 Part 2.

The Veil is a spy thriller series created by Peaky Blinders and Taboo‘s Steven Knight. The FX miniseries follows the relationship between two women working as spies as they travel from Istanbul to Paris and London, as one of them tries to expose a secret that the other one is hiding. If the secret is not exposed thousands of lives will be potentially in danger.
While The Veil is starting slowly, it doesn’t mean it is not building up to something incredibly thrilling and intensely dramatic. The premiere of The Veil is certainly setting up a story that could be entertaining to watch and if you are also on board to watch the series like I am, then here are the dates new episodes will be available.

We meet Elisabeth Moss’ Portia in the first scene of FX’s new Hulu drama The Veil, striding confidently through a busy international airport, stiletto heels precariously high, her mouth a gash of crimson lipstick. She’s meeting a shady businessman named Tomas, and they toast to a transaction successfully made. But several seconds later, Interpol rushes in and she chides Tomas for all the criminal details he spilled in the previous 37 days. She walks away, leaving him fuming and in custody.
Her name isn’t actually Portia. As she leaves, aspect and tone instantly changed, she’s already arranging her next destination — Istanbul — and her next identity, telling a person on the telephone, “I would like my name to be Imogen.” She will be Imogen for the rest of The Veil.
It’s here, two minutes into the show, that eagle-eyed viewers and English majors should already be putting together certain pieces.

Plot: In December 1776, Benjamin Franklin is world famous for his electrical experiments. But his passion and power are put to the test when he embarks on a secret mission to France—with the fate of American independence hanging in the balance.
Review: Of all the television and big screen depictions of the Revolutionary War and the early days of the United States, few have focused specifically on Benjamin Franklin. The scientist, inventor, scholar, and dignitary has been a key character in many projects, notably played by Tom Wilkinson in HBO’s John Adams and by Howard De Silva in the musical 1776, but always as a supporting player. Despite being one of the Founding Fathers and having his iconic visage gracing the one hundred dollar bill, the first narrative production centered on his life is just now being released. When pondering the Revolutionary War, specific inflection points come to mind. The Boston Massacre of 1770, Paul Revere’s midnight warning in 1775 and the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 are often the main topics of conversation. However, much more went on during the nearly two-decade-long battle that led to the 13 colonies’ independence from England. Adapted from Pulitzer Prize-winner Stacy Schiff’s novel, “A Great Improvisation: Franklin, France, and the Birth of America,” Apple TV+’s “Franklin” recounts inventor Benjamin Franklin’s eight-year mission in France where he schemed and plotted to foster a Franco-American alliance. What should be a sparkling recounting of a pivotal moment in U.S. history is flattened, becoming a mind-numbing and belabored affair of wig-wearing men shouting at each other in dark rooms.
Created by Kirk Ellis and Howard Korder, the series opens in December 1776. Though the Declaration of Independence had been signed three months prior,...

When he arrived in France in 1776, Benjamin Franklin had a sort of global fame that’s hard to completely fathom, given a world of slow-traveling news in which “social media” took the form of arduously printed and even more arduously distributed pamphlets. He’d been a diplomat, journalist, publisher and prolific inventor, but he was more widely known for semi-apocryphal things like “inventing” electricity, as well as his mastery of glib wisdom we’d call “sound bites” today.
Franklin’s mission, undertaken with no official governmental mandate, was to enlist France’s support — money, supplies, ships and soldiers — in the burgeoning war for American independence. His celebrity, particularly its more frivolous aspects (matched with an international perception of frivolous “Americans”), was both a boon and a disservice to his cause. It’s as if we sent MrBeast to negotiate peace in the Middle East, if MrBeast suffered from gout and...

The series was entirely filmed in France, and Douglas spoke about returning to the country to launch the show before it’s bow on Apple TV+ on April 12. “It’s coals to Newcastle – this is where our whole project is based: It is the story of Benjamin Franklin coming to France to save America.”
The star, a French speaker and regular at the Cannes Film Festival, added: “The least we could do was come back and say, ‘Thank you, France – thank you first for saving America. [We are] reminding everyone of that story and role France played – and...

Despite his fame in other historical adaptations and, you know, history, Benjamin Franklin doesn't really feature much in Hamilton, possibly the most well-known blend of American Revolutionary fact and fiction in recent years. But the kite-flying, phrase-spewing Founding Father is now the focus of an Apple TV+ drama starring Michael Douglas. Get all about the Benjamin here:
Not claiming to be a cradle to grave treatment of Franklin's life, Franklin – adapted from Stacy Schiff's book A Great Improvisation: Franklin, France, And The Birth Of America – instead focuses on one specific chunk, when he's tasked with a vital mission. As American independence hangs by a thread, conflict raging with Britain, he's dispatched to France to convince its monarchy to help a burgeoning republic survive some serious birth pangs.

The Netflix show, written and produced by Oseman, was such a hit that it was immediately renewed for seasons two and three, meaning fans could follow the on-screen stories of beloved characters Elle, Tao, Tara, Darcy and Isaac, alongside those of Nick and Charlie, past their Gcse year and beyond.

On the heels of his acclaimed stage performance at London’s National Theater for “Phaedra,” Assaad Bouab (“Call My Agent!,” “Bad Sisters”) is set to team with filmmaker Benjamin Ross (“The Frankenstein Chronicles”) and European production banner Asacha Media Group on “Voyager.”
“Voyager” will star Bouab as legendary Medieval explorer and philosopher Ibn Battuta who went on pilgrimage to Mecca and ended up travelling for over twenty years and over 76000 miles across Africa, India and Eurasia, more than anyone in pre-modern history. Battuta logged his experiences of the people, places and cultures he encountered along the way, writing one of the world’s earliest and most famous travelogues, The Rilah, and earning himself legendary status in history. The project is being developed as a series.
Bouab, who is half Moroccan, said “Ibn Battuta is one of the greatest explorers of all time and I would have loved to have had his life.

Aka is a French-style gangster thriller that has its main appeal in showing Eric Cantona playing a Scarface. Too bad he isn’t up to it.
Aka is a French film directed by Morgan S. Dalibert starring Alban Lenoir and Eric Cantona. Yes, the one from Manchester United.
About the movie
Bad guys, very “badass” in a movie that Guy Ritchie would have done much better.
The star this time is not Cantona, featured almost as a commercial claim for the film, but this actor called Alban Lenoir who, with his very manly features, fits the role to perfection … A quite different matter is if the role is worth it or if the movie has enough dramatic intensity to demonstrate anything beyond knowing how to hold a gun (there are others in Hollywood who do not even know how to do that).
As for the Movie: zero sense of humor...
