Tracy Morse moved from Rhode Island to Los Angeles in 1992 to pursue his dream of becoming a rock star. When reality set in (followed immediately by a haircut) he got cracking on a career in the film industry, looking for a way to merge his rock-star sensibilities with a passion for storytelling.
During his 25 years in the entertainment business, Tracy has written over 48 feature screenplays, plus numerous pilots, treatments and shorts for over a dozen producers and directors in Hollywood. He has also directed commercials, music videos and short films with and for a variety of creative partners. Tracy's shorts, Chasing Jason & Wednesday The 13th, created under his B-movie persona Chopper Denton, earned him numerous awards including Comic-Con's coveted Fan Favorite Award, and they still remain popular online today. Tracy co-wrote and co-directed his first feature Demon Legacy with John Savage & Eileen Dietz in 2009, and Creature, co-written by Tracy and produced by The Bubble Factory, opened nationwide in September 2011. Tracy also created a horror screenwriting course called Scared Scriptless, which he tours when given the opportunity. He currently has two screenplays in preproduction, looking to go to camera this spring. 4.19.21
