Founder of the Russian pop-rock group "Tsvety" ("Flowers") in 1969, inspired by the psychedelic American hippie movement (think "flower power" -- the name "Tsvety") The band was banned in the USSR for several years. During the ban, they were simply called "Gruppa Stasa Namina" ("Stas Namin's Group").
