Paramount+ and Nickelodeon today revealed the teaser, first-look images and premiere date for Henry Danger The Movie, a feature-length original movie based on the hit live-action series. In an exciting new chapter of the action-comedy franchise, Henry finds himself racing through a maze of alternate realities with his new superfan sidekick.

Henry Danger The Movie will be available to stream in the U.S. on Paramount+ on Friday, Jan. 17, and premiere on Nickelodeon that same day at 7 p.m. (Et/Pt). The movie will also premiere on Paramount+ in select international markets where the service is available, and launch on Nickelodeon’s international channels later in the year.

Two-time Emmy winner Keke Palmer (Password) is confirmed to star in and executive produce The ‘Burbs, inspired by the 1989 film with Tom Hanks and Carrie Fisher. Peacock’s given a straight-to-series order to the mystery comedy series executive-produced by Brian Grazer and Seth MacFarlane.

“Set in present-day suburbia, The ‘Burbs follows a young couple returning to the husband’s childhood home,” reads Peacock’s synopsis. “Their world is upended when new neighbors move in next door, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood.”

The new series will shoot on Universal Studios Hollywood’s backlot where the original film, directed by Joe Dante, was shot. Dana Olsen, screenwriter of the ’89 comedy, is involved in the Peacock series as a co-executive producer.

Celeste Hughey will adapt the film for television. Seth MacFarlane is set to executive produce, as will Brian Grazer of Imagine Entertainment, with Imagine having produced the film. Dana Olsen, who wrote the film, will co-executive produce.

Exclusive: Evelyn Braxton, the matriarch of long-running reality series Braxton Family Values, is cooking up a new show.

Braxton is developing a cooking format with Dorothy Toran and Leslie Farrell’s Lauren Grace Media. Cooking With Ms. E, which is inspired by her upcoming cookbook, will see her give viewers an inside look into one of her favorite places – her kitchen.

The series will also see Braxton joined by a number of guests in the kitchen as she bakes up recipes, including her famous buffins – a cross between a muffin and a biscuit.

Evelyn Braxton is an opera singer, certified life coach and mother of six including hit singer Toni Braxton. She is one of the stars of WEtv’s Braxton Family Values, which recently aired its seventh season.

Lauren Grace Media was launched in February 2020 by The Real Housewives of New Jersey exec producer Toran and former NBCU exec Farrell.

Nickelodeon is expanding its live-action roster with the renewal of hit series Danger Force and Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan for second seasons. Nickelodeon’s “Henry Danger” musical special on Saturday marked a two-year ratings high for the hit kids series.

“Henry Danger the Musical” pulled in 2.2 million total viewers across its premiere and three days of delayed viewing, according to Nielsen. In the show’s target demographic of kids 6-11, the special pulled in a 6.2 rating and 902,000 viewers.

Those numbers make it the highest-rated broadcast of “Henry Danger” in two years. The episode’s 116% growth in delayed viewing makes it the most time-shifted episode of the series since its debut in 2014.

After the massive success of Airplane! (1980), the horror world decided to try spoofing the hand that feeds; in short order we were dealt Saturday the 14th, Student Bodies, National Lampoon’s Class Reunion, and Pandemonium (all from ’81 to ’82). Mileage may vary of course; comedy is completely subjective—you either laugh or you don’t. Needless to say, there are moments from each of these films that I find entertaining; from smiles to chuckles and sometimes even a laugh or two. Nickelodeon’s Henry Danger will join The Thundermans and iCarly in surpassing the 100-episode mark. The network has ordered an additional 10 episodes of the series, TV’s number-one live-action show with kids 2-11 and kids 6-11. The order brings Henry Danger‘s series’ total to 117 episodes, making it Nick’s longest-running live-action sitcom, currently in its fifth season.

In the 100th episode, titled “Man Cave Self Destruct,” after Schwoz’s family reunion causes chaos in the Man Cave, Captain Man reveals a “Superheroes Only” room in the Man Cave for peace and quiet. Jealous, Charlotte, Jasper and Schwoz make a cooler room to show them up. As the gang fights over who gets the better room, things get blown out of proportion.

It's a swell day in Swellview. Nickelodeon has renewed the live-action Henry Danger TV series for a third season. The Viacom network announced the renewal today, during its upfront presentation in New York. It's a swell day for Henry Danger's co-creator, Dan Schneider, too. His Game Shakers TV show also got a Nick renewal.
