Adam Sandler Says Using Wires to Float Like an Astronaut on ‘Spaceman’ Set ‘Hurt Me’: ‘My Body’s Not the Most Flexible Body’
Image
Adam Sandler was faced with a new challenge on the set of his upcoming Netflix film “Spaceman”: using wires to appear like an astronaut floating in space. At the film’s Berlin Film Festival press conference on Wednesday, Sandler cheekily reflected on the experience, saying the “wires hurt me.”

“The wires were tough because my body’s not the most flexible body. The wires hurt me, they dug into me. The stuntmen who would wire me up every day, I would say ‘that hurts’ and they didn’t believe me,” Sandler said as the room erupted in laughter. “But we did it as a team. [Director] Johan [Renck] would say, ‘You don’t look like you’re floating, what are you doing?’ And then I would say, ‘Well, what should we do?’ And then they’d wire Johan up and he’d be like, ‘More like this!'”

The cast of the sci-fi drama, based on Jaroslav Kalfař’s Spaceman of Bohemia, includes Carey Mulligan (Maestro), Kunal Nayyar (Suspicion), Lena Olin (Hunters), and Isabella Rossellini (Julia). The first trailer for the film shows Nanjiani and Rae as a couple deeply in love when a man commandeers their car in pursuit of a criminal. But instead of arresting the bad guy, the man drives over him with their car and flees the scene, leaving the pair of them looking like murderers. They spend the day working to clear their name all in the hopes of salvaging their relationship.

“Who do you work for, you little bitch? You little bean-bag, ball-less bitch,” Rae says to intimidate a suspect. “Yeah, do you think about your grandma in that furry beanbag, bitch,” Nanjiani says as he tries to keep up.

Rami Malek in Bohemian Rhapsody (2018)
Motley Crue Biopic ‘The Dirt’ Brings Anarchy in First Trailer for Netflix Film (Video)
Rami Malek in Bohemian Rhapsody (2018)
If you thought the story of “Bohemian Rhapsody” was nuts, “The Dirt” and its look at the formation of Mötley Crüe will really rock you.

Mötley Crüe was one of the most notorious ’80s hair metal bands in the country, arguably known more for their antics offstage and their lavish, outrageous performances than their music. “The Dirt,” a new music biopic based on the salacious autobiography by the band and Neil Strauss, taps into that insanity.

“The fans? They’re dying for some anarchy. So let’s give it to them,” one of the bandmates says in the film.

Mötley Crüe is made up of Mick Mars, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and Vince Neil. And they’re played by Iwan Rheon (“Game of Thrones”), Douglas Booth, Machine Gun Kelly and Daniel Webber, respectively. “The Dirt” also stars Pete Davidson and Leven Rambin.

Futile and Stupid Gesture Trailer Charts the Rise of National Lampoon
Netflix has released the first trailer for their upcoming biopic A Futile & Stupid Gesture, starring Will Forte as comedy wunderkind Doug Kenney. While this icon might not necessarily be a household name, he co-created the National Lampoon magazine, along with co-writing comedy classic movies Caddyshack and Animal House. Kenney was at the center of the 70's comedy counter-culture which gave birth to Saturday Night Live and a whole generation's way of looking at the world. The trailer hints that the movie will take quite a unique approach, with Will Forte playing Doug Kenney in the 1970s, and Martin Mull playing the "modern-day" Doug Kenney... even though he's been dead for 37 years.

The trailer begins with someone asking Martin Mull, in character as "modern-day" Doug, who is asked by his interviewer if he could introduce himself as, "the man who changed comedy, but couldn't change himself," which lead Mull to respond with,...

Win Passes To The Advance Screening Of Keanu In St. Louis
Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, a.k.a. the hugely popular comedy duo Key & Peele, star in New Line Cinema’s action comedy Keanu. The two play Clarence and Rell, cousins who live in the city but are far from streetwise. When Rell’s beloved kitten, Keanu, is catnapped, the hopelessly straight-laced pair must impersonate ruthless killers in order to infiltrate a street gang and retrieve the purloined feline. But the incredibly adorable kitten becomes so coveted that the fight over his custody creates a gang war, forcing our two unwitting heroes to take the law into their own hands.

Peter Atencio (“Key and Peele,” “The Last Man on Earth”) directed the film from a script written by Jordan Peele and Alex Rubens (“Key and Peele,” “Community”). Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Peter Principato, Paul Young, and Joel Zadak produced the film, with Ben Ormand serving as executive producer.

Peele’s character,...
