Studied at Brooks Institute of Photography in USA.

Brother of film directors <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0439285/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Baker Karim</a> and&#39;Alexander Karim&#39;.

Fled with his family to Sweden in 1975 from Uganda and Idi Amin.

Lives with wife and three children in Glumslöv, Skåne län, Sweden. (March 2008)
