- E.J. (short for Edra Jean) portrayed the role of Minnie Fay in the motion picture Hello, Dolly! (1969). Originally from Oklahoma, E.J. had numerous experience in high school plays, and studied drama at the University of New Mexico as well as experiencing Drama training in Vienna. She also played Broadway in "Bye Bye Birdie". E.J. has made over fifty-two television commercials and starred with Robert Morse in a musical series, That's Life (1968). After the picture, E.J. went on to do a lot of Broadway and various other films. - E.J. married accountant Stephen Lee Salkin in 1977 and adopted a son together. 9 years later, E. J. formed a group she called E. J.'s Gems which was an outreach group to the homeless in Encino where she lived. The group would dole out sandwiches and clothes. In an article in the LA Times, E. - During one of E.J.'s homeless outreaches, she mistakenly offered a sandwich to someone she thought was homeless but was instead was a man who was attempting to change a tire. "He says, 'Are you crazy?' " Peaker recalled. " 'I'm waiting here to have my Rolls-Royce tire fixed.' ".
