I.L. Peretz(1851-1915)

I.L. Peretz was born on 20 May 1851 in Zamosc, Lublin Governorate, Congress Poland, Russian Empire [now Zamosc, Lubelskie, Poland]. He was a writer, known for Shabbat Hamalka (1965), Play of the Week (1959) and The World of Sholom Aleichem (1959). He was married to Helena Ringelhejm and Sara Lichtenfeld. He died on 3 April 1915 in Warsaw, Warsaw Governorate, Congress Poland, Russian Empire [now Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland].
