- Mother of Charlotte Ander.
- Actress and singer, on stage in Berlin from 1897. Made a name for herself in revues and operettas. Began in silent films from 1911, initially in leading comedy roles. Successfully made the transition to sound and continued to appear as a supporting player during the early 1930's. After World War II, she worked as a voice actress for the Berlin radio station RIAS.
- In a time when the film business was in its infancy she already appeared in front of the camera.
- When the talkies replaced the silent movies Ida Perry was able to continue her career successfully. Especially in the first half of the 30's she played numerous support roles.
- She was not only a successful stage actress but also belonged to the pioneers of the German silent movie era.
- After "Wenn ein Mädel Hochzeit macht" (1935) Ida Perry retired nearly completely from the film business, only in 1949 followed a comeback with "Unser täglich Brot" (1949).
- Ida Perry also impersonated many roles in well-known productions of the 20's. To her popular productions of the 20's belong "Salome" (1920), "Tiefland" (1922), Jugend (1922) and and "Schneeschuhbanditen" (1928).
- Her last appearance on the big screen was in "Mein Herz darfst du nicht fragen" (52).
