Richard began performing early in his life. He was a lead singer in a
rock/blues band while majoring in screen writing at the University of
Georgia. During college, Richard appeared in several commercials , a
student TV pilot show, and an independent film before getting a
breakthrough role in the Dreamworks' "Road Trip," directed by Todd
Philips. This was a major turning point in Richard's life, as he began
pursuing acting and developing his craft. His most recent notable role
as a leading character came in the national hit TV show "Swamp
Murders."
