Stuart started his career working in Sydney in the camera department where he worked on over 15 feature Films. He later
accepted a position at the BBC at Ealing Studios working on such dramas as Lovejoy and Bergerac. Quin co-founded Latent Image Productions which developed and produced such films as Frauds and The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert along with many others.
Stuart has extensive experience in all aspects of motion pictures and has initiated co-productions with broadcasters around the world including ZDF, ORF, TV Asahi and the BBC.
More recently Stuart has worked as Executive Producer raising finance and overseeing production of Australian feature films and producing many TVC's as well as founding the highly successful talent agency Smith and Jones. He is in partnership with companies both in the USA and the UK and has developed a wide range of projects for both theatrical and TV release.
