Rectify Season 3, Episode 4, “Girl Jesus”
Written by Scott Teems
Directed by Scott Teems
Airs Thursdays at 10pm Et on Sundance
“What will I be when they put me back together again?” Daniel asks his sister during “Girl Jesus”, a thinly-veiled reference to the infamous, egg-starring nursery rhyme. Yet it’s a question that permeates every corner of Rectify’s third season, which has lifted Paulie from any sense of temporal reality, observing the town and its people as if frozen in time inside a snow globe. Shaking said globe is Daggett, of course, trying to loosen the bits and pieces of truth surrounding George Milton’s death – and as the facts, rumors, emotions, and preconceptions fill the air of Rectify‘s purgatorial setting, “Girl Jesus” begins to show characters fighting against the stasis of their lives, all looking for the unfamiliar, “more crooked path” to inner peace Amantha speaks of when having lunch with Jon.

James Franco is a strange bird, and one who defies categorization. He effortlessly balances the careers of an actor, director, screenwriter, artist, musician, novelist, poet, and teacher simultaneously. Honestly, we don’t know where he finds the time. Does he have a Time-Turner or a flux capacitor? That’s got to be it, right?
Time-travel aside, whatever James Franco’s doing – Is he not sleeping? – it’s working, because he’s about to add another hyphen to his already multi-hyphenate name.
James Franco, stage actor.
Making his Broadway debut, Franco joins the cast of John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men as George Milton. Chris O’Dowd (Bridesmaids) joins Franco as George’s well-meaning best friend Lennie, a role that garnered O’Dowd a Tony Award nomination.
Cineplex is delighted to present National Theatre Live’s premiere of Of Mice and Men this Thursday, November 6. An encore performance will take place next Thursday,...

Millions know him as part of C4's It Crowd or as the charming cop in Hollywood hit Bridesmaids. Now the versatile Irish actor is making his mark on the stage in Of Mice and Men
On the Cannes Croisette, in the foyer of the postmodern Jw Marriott hotel, a bundle of brightly polished people from the film industry are standing together in a roped-off area, enjoying a free drink and the illusion of celebrity. Slinking by unnoticed, trundling a small case towards the lifts, is a tall man in a hoodie, with messy hair and stubble.
Is he a TV cameraman or a seedy showbiz journalist? No, it is Chris O'Dowd, one of the most bankable stars to attend the film festival that year, 2012.
No matter how famous the Irish actor gets, following lead roles in Bridesmaids and The Sapphires (along with a disturbing television cameo in the acclaimed HBO series Girls), his ambling,...
