I’m with Geller?
More than a decade before Hillary Clinton decided to run for President of the United States, “Gilmore Girls” held its own election with eerie parallels to the 2016 race.
During the show’s second season, overachiever Paris Geller (Liza Weil) runs for Student Body President of Chilton private school. Her two minions Madeline and Louise (Shelley Cole, Teal Redmann) have just polled fellow students to see how Paris is doing, and it’s not pretty. Although she is far and away the most qualified and competent candidate, others simply don’t like her and don’t want to vote for her.

“You mean people would rather vote for a moronic twink who they like over someone who could actually do the job?” Paris asks incredulously. Sound familiar?

A 300th episode is a milestone extremely few series get to celebrate.
Maybe that doesn't seem as surprising for a drama that has spent much of its run heralded as "the most popular show in the world," but it's a major moment for "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" nevertheless.
The globally successful Anthony E. Zuiker-created procedural -- which inspired much of what CBS' prime-time schedule has looked like for the past decade-plus -- marks the event Wednesday, Oct. 23, with a story that acknowledges "CSI" history in a number of ways. The plot revisits a cold case from the Las Vegas forensics team's early days, and founding co-star Marg Helgenberger (who will be back on CBS weekly this winter in "Intelligence") returns as Catherine Willows.
Paul Guilfoyle, alias Capt. Jim Brass, has been with "CSI" from the start. "It's kind of an abstract number," the actor reasons to Zap2it of reaching the 300th tale.

On the surface, the Season 14 premiere of CSI may feel a bit familiar.
After all, the show's premiere one year ago found the team searching for a team member's abducted loved one. And while this year, D.B. Russell (Ted Danson) & Co. are trying to find kidnapped team member Morgan (Elisabeth Harnois) and Ellie (Teal Redmann) the daughter of Brass (Paul Guilfoyle), that's pretty much where the similarities end.

Scoot over Dr. Lecter, an upcoming CSI big bad may just give you a run for your money. In the news today, actor Tim Matheson, recently seen as a Hart of Dixie doc on the CW, has a new guest arc scheduled for CSI: Vegas. In the role, he is also a doctor, but his extracurricular activities are downright murderous and a bit frightening.
This arc is so big, that it’ll stretch across season 13′s finale and season 14′s premier. The two-episode arc was announced by TV Line, who confirmed Matheson and the CBS crime drama’s season 13 finale are coming on May 15. We’ve previously learned another familiar face will arrive during the season 13 finale as well, coming at us from BSG.
His character, known as Mr. Tate has been described as a good looking, upscale, very sharp witted Ph.D. and M.D. who becomes the suspect...

It’s been 13 years of CSI and I was beginning to think it was strange we only ever heard about Capt. Jim Brass’ consistently off-screen wife. And when I say I thought it was strange, what I really mean is I was deeply invested in the idea Nancy Brass was never a real person. Like, I’m talking a total figment of Brass’ imagination. I was even close to figuring out a way to explain his child – it wouldn’t have been hard since she’s not biologically his – but there was no need because, after waiting for so long, Nancy will finally make an appearance. They even cast someone to play her!
According to the Hollywood Reporter , Annabella Sciorra will play Nancy. She’ll finally come out of hiding when a case hits close to home for the Brass family – if you can even call them such a thing.

I happened to catch the High School Musical spin-off Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure while watching a friend’s kid sister last weekend, and I have to say, once and for all, that I’m totally and completely over Disney Channel Original Movies… and it’s about time. Even toward the end of what I consider the Golden Era of Disney Originals — starting in 1999 with Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century and coming to a screeching halt in 2003 with The Even Stevens Movie — I was probably a little too old to be watching them. I remember joking about the latest cheesy Domp (Disney Original Motion Picture…...
