- Late 1968, Roarke was asked by Dennis Hopper to come to a private screening of Hell's Angels On Wheels, The Savage Seven and Psych Out. Hopper had an idea for his upcoming directing debut. Peter Fonda spoke with Adam Roarke and asked if he'd be interested in doing a film with Dennis Hopper. Roarke asked about the film to which Fonda replied saying the film would be about a couple of guys on bikes. Roarke already having done Hells Angels On Wheels, The Savage Seven and just finished filming Hell's Belles, said he was giving Biker films a miss. The film that Roarke turned down without knowing was Easy Rider (1969).
