Billed as the first East meets West Western, and directed by Terence Young, Red Sun is based on a true story from the American Wild West of 1870. When outlaw Link (Charles Bronson) is betrayed by his gang during a train robbery, he is forced by the Japanese Ambassador to help regain a priceless sword stolen by Link’s double-crossing partner Gauche (Alain Delon).

Link and the Ambassador’s bodyguard, Kuroda (Toshiro Mifune), travel the West in pursuit of Gauche, attempting to lure him out by taking his girlfriend (Ursula Andress) as hostage. Although Kuroda plans to kill Gauche straight away, Link needs him alive to find the loot from their last robbery.

The Trolls are back! Long-lost siblings reunite and troll magic faces a new obstacle in “Trolls Band Together.” Dynamic duo Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) embark on a new adventure to get Branch’s brothers’ boy band — Brozone — back together to save Floyd (Troye Sivan) from two wannabe superstar singers who secretly leech off of Floyd’s talent.

John Dory (Eric André) catalyzes the reunion of Brozone, who broke up over creative differences when Branch was a baby. The other two brothers — Clay and Spruce — must be tracked down to save Floyd from losing all of his talent to Velvet (Amy Schumer) and Veneer (Andrew Rannells).

An epic soundtrack, complete with a new *Nsync song as well as renditions of old classics and the addition of Camilla Cabello’s voice awaits adventurers ready for “Trolls 3.”

Terry Hall, the longtime voice of legendary ska group The Specials has died after what the band termed a brief illness. He was 63.

Hall and the Specials reached their widest appeal with the haunting, socially conscious “Ghost Town,” which spent three weeks at No. 1 on the U.K. singles charts in 1981. The song was a commentary on economic strife in Margaret Thatcher’s England and the social unrest of the era, including riots that year in Britain. It was named “Single of the Year” by all three of the major UK music magazines.

The spat between Buckingham Palace and the producers behind Netflix’s “Harry & Meghan” docuseries has intensified after it emerged that palace officials not only had an opportunity to comment on the Sussexes’ claims within the show, but tried to obtain footage in advance.

The war of words erupted last Thursday, shortly after “Harry & Meghan” dropped on Netflix at 8 a.m. U.K. time. The series opens with a set of title cards reading: “This is a first hand account of Harry and Meghan’s story, told with never before seen personal archive. All interviews were completed by August 2022. Members of the Royal Family declined to comment on the content within this series.”

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have surprised some with their choice of new communications secretary, recruiting deputy editor of the Daily Mail Tobyn Andreae.

The Times of London reports that Andreae will start his new role in the coming months, and the royal couple hope he will be a strong driver of their public relations in the run-up to the Prince of Wales ascending the throne.

The choice of Andreae has raised some eyebrows as his employer of 20 years, Associated Newspapers, has previously been on the opposing side of two legal actions brought by Charles’s son Harry and his wife, the Duchess of Sussex.

Speaking to the BBC last year, Andreae revealed that his newspaper “has very strong, very powerful views that not everybody agrees with, much to my amazement.”

Andreae’s salary will be paid for out of the Prince’s private income from the Duchy of Cornwall.

Nelsan Ellis — the actor known for his role of Lafayette on True Blood who died at the age of 39 — was laid to rest on Saturday at the Holy Temple Cathedral in his home state of Illinois.

Several of Ellis’ costars, including his True Blood castmates, attended his funeral, according to E! News.

Stars from True Blood included Anna Paquin, who played Sookie; Carrie Preston, who played Arlene, and Rutina Wesley, who played Tara, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Wesley was a longtime friend of Ellis and penned an emotional tribute to him which she shared last week.

The Ellis family announced a public viewing for the True Blood actor is scheduled from 6 – 9 p.m. at Leak and Sons Funeral Home, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The funeral will be held the following day on July 22 at Holy Temple Cathedral.

Ellis struggled with drug and alcohol abuse for years before he died on July 8 due to heart failure complications at the age of 39.

Nelsan Ellis‘ family is opening up about the circumstances surrounding the beloved True Blood star’s passing.

In a statement released to The Hollywood Reporter on Monday via Ellis’ manager Emily Gerson Saines, the actor’s family explained that Ellis struggled with drug and alcohol abuse for years before he died due to heart failure complications at the age of 39 on Saturday.

Nelsan’s father has bravely agreed for me to share the circumstances of Nelsan’s heart failure. Nelsan has suffered with drug and alcohol abuse for years. After many stints in rehab, Nelsan attempted to withdraw from alcohol on his own.

Rest in peace, Nelsan Ellis.

Nelsan will be dearly missed by his fans and all of us at HBO." 

"Nelsan was a singular talent whose creativity never ceased to amaze me," added True Blood creator, Alan Ball. "Working with him was a privilege."

Ellis starred as Lafayette on True Blood from 2008 to 2014. His character was killed off in the books, but Ellis' portrayal of Lafayette was so beloved that the character survived the HBO series.
