Claudette Robinson

Claudette Robinson was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. She is a writer, singer, and producer known for being an original member of The Miracles who gave Motown Records their first #1 single, Shop Around. She was given the title, The First Lady of Motown(TM) by Motown Founder, Berry Gordy and has been honored with Lifetime Achievement awards, National Treasure awards, several museum exhibits including the Motown Museum experience, "Claudette Robinson - A Motown Her-Story," and is a Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame inductee. Claudette produced on Hitsville: The Making of Motown (2019) and The T.A.M.I. Show (1964) and wrote the children's book, "Claudette's Miraculous Motown Adventure." She was previously married to Smokey Robinson and had two children with him, Tamla and Berry.
