At 81 years old, Julie Andrews has done it all — but the legendary actress is the first to admit that she’s never going to stop learning.

Speaking with People ahead of the release of her new children’s show Julie’s Greenroom (streaming on Netflix Friday), the Hollywood icon opened up about the special advice that she would give to her younger self knowing what she knows now.

“What I know now is that there’s always something more to learn, because you never stop really,” Andrews said. “You don’t just grow up and get set, at least you shouldn’t.

“I don’t think anybody dislikes puppets,” said musical legend Julie Andrews.

And the star, co-creator and executive producer of Julie’s Greenroom, which premieres Friday, March 17 on Netflix, knows of what she speaks. At a recent press event hosted by the streaming video site, Andrews told journalists she was very involved in the creation of the puppet cast members on her new children’s show, right down to choosing their garments and skin colors.

People can exclusively reveal the official trailer of the highly anticipated Netflix show Julie’s Greenroom starring legendary actress Julie Andrews, and is set to begin streaming on Friday, March 17.

Julie Andrews is set to star in a new Netflix kids series which will debut exclusively on the streaming service in early 2017.

"Julie's Greenroom" is a thirteen-episode half-hour series from the Jim Henson Company and features new puppets learning about the performing arts. Filming began last month on Long Island.

Andrews plays Ms. Julie, the director of the Wellspring Center for the Performing Arts, where she teaches workshops in the theater and its greenroom. Ms. Julie and her assistant Gus (Giullian Yao Gioiello) will bring the performing arts to a diverse group of new kid puppets, known as the Greenies.

Mesmerized by the arts and creativity, the Greenies will create their own show over the course of the season, incorporating mime, music, dance, improv, circus arts, singing and more.

Andrews, who will also serve as executive producer, created the series with her daughter Emma Walton Hamilton and Judy Rothman-Rofe.

Today, Netflix announced Julie's Greenroom, an upcoming preschool series starring Julie Andrews. Co-created by Andrews, her daughter Emma Walton Hamilton, and Judy Rothman-Rofe, Julie's Greenroom is from The Jim Henson Company and will, naturally, feature a puppet cast.
