    Producer, in films from 1930. He was at one time financial adviser and general manager to silent screen star Douglas Fairbanks Sr and served as vice president at United Artists. He was subsequently employed as general manager at Samuel Goldwyn Productions and later headed the British department of Paramount Pictures until 1949. He then left to form David E. Rose Productions.
