I don't typically check out documentaries when I attend film festivals, but I think I might have to make an exception for Nick Broomfield's Tales of the Grim Sleeper at this year's Toronto Festival as the director of such docs as Aileen Wuornos: Portrait of a Serial Killer and Biggie and Tupac digs into the case of the notorious serial killer known as the "Grim Sleeper," who terrorized South Central Los Angeles over a span of twenty-five years. In the never ending world of rap feuds, 50 Cent has taken a shot towards his rap enemy, Rick Ross, over the recent drive-by shooting incident that Rick was involved in on Monday, Jan. 28, claiming that the whole thing was ‘staged’!

While Rick Ross celebrated his 37th birthday on Jan. 28 in Miami, Rick and his friend Sateria Moragne-el were the target of an alleged drive-by shooting, as shots were fired outside his Rolls-Royce when he left the famous Liv club. They were both unharmed, even after Rick crashed the car trying to get away — and 50 Cent believes the reason they weren’t hurt, is because the whole incident was fabricated! “Hahaha fat boy hit the building?lol it looks staged to me. No hole’s in da car,” 50 Cent tweeted, attaching an Instagram pic of the car with zero bullet holes.

50 Cent reignited his feud with Rick Ross on Monday when he claimed that the drive-by shooting in which Ross was caught Monday was "staged."

After celebrating his 37th birthday at the Miami hotspot Liv, Ross was the target of an alleged drive-by shooting on the busy Las Olas Boulevard early Monday morning. A driver pulled up next to the rapper and fired shots in the direction of his 2011 Rolls Royce. Ross lost control and crashed the vehicle into an apartment building. Dozens of shell casings were found at the scene, but Ross and his passenger, Sateria Moragne-el, were unharmed.

50 Cent, apparently, didn't buy the story. He posted a tweet claiming the shooting was "staged" along with an Instagram photo of Ross' car, which appears free of bullet holes.

Rick Ross might not have canceled his tour because of death threats from a Chicago-based gang, but the Chicago Police Department is still taking the threats seriously.

The Chicago Pd has launched an investigation into death threats made against Ross by a Chicago gang, the Gangster Disciples, TMZ reported.

The Gangster Disciples made the threat against Ross in a YouTube video posted a few weeks ago, according to MTV News. In the video, the gang demands Ross cut a check to Gangster Disciples founder Larry Hoover or else there will be "trouble."

Chicago Pd was made aware of the video and will be investigating.

The gang reportedly has a problem with Ross name-dropping Hoover in his 2010 single, "B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast)." Hoover, who formed the Gangster Disciples in the late 1960s, is serving life in federal prison, according to The Smoking Gun. Ross is also accused of stealing...

Hip-hop star Rick Ross has reportedly won the first stage of his legal battle against drugs king Ricky Ross - the former convict's injunction against the rapper has been "tossed out" by a judge. The rapper, real name William Leonard Roberts II, has been accused of adopting his stage name from the former cocaine trafficker, who became infamous for running a drug empire in Los Angeles in the 1980s.

Ross warned Roberts he would face a court battle if he did not change his moniker before the release of his upcoming album, "Teflon Don", and the ex-convict kept his word when his legal team filed a trademark infringement lawsuit last month in the California U.S. District Court. Ross was expected to summon rap legend Jay-z to testify in the case as the "99 Problems hitmaker" was the boss of Def Jam records when Roberts was signed to the label in...

Former drug kingpin Ricky Ross is set to summon Jay-z to testify in court as part of his copyright showdown with hip-hop star Rick Ross. The rapper, born William Leonard Roberts II, has been accused of adopting his stage name from the former cocaine trafficker, who became infamous for running a drug empire in Los Angeles in the 1980s.

Ross warned Roberts he would face a court battle if he did not change his moniker before the release of his upcoming album, and the ex-convict has kept his word - Ross' legal team filed a trademark infringement lawsuit on Friday, June 18 in the California U.S. District Court.

The ex-convict claims his lawyers sent cease-and-desist letters to executives at music label Def Jam in 2006, after they signed Roberts, to protest "the exploitation and misuse of his name".
