David L. Ross was born on 24 April 1939 in Morocco. He is an actor, known for Star Trek (1966), Rocky II (1979) and McMillan & Wife (1971). He has been married to Malynda since 12 January 1980. They have four children.
(February 27 to April 3, 2011) He played Dennis and Philip Hutchens in Anne Washburn's play, "A Devil at Noon," in a Humana Festival production at the Actors Theatre of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky with Joseph Adams (Chet Ellis); Ross Bickell (Bob Seward/Moon Man); Rebecca Hart (Lois L); Brandon T. Miller (Tom/Don Larkin) and Matthew Stadelmann (Colin McAdams/Phone guy) in the cast. Steve Cosson was director.
Ross was the first to take his shirt off on the original Star Trek series. He was the only actor to have been killed twice on the series and brought back to life. Also, the only actor to have turned down a role in Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979).
