Paolo is an accomplished film Director, playwright, actor and producer
working in Film, Theatre and Television for twenty years. His
experience in filmmaking ranges from writing and directing to acting
and producing. In 2014 Paolo is releasing his debut feature film
'Orphans&kingdoms' which he wrote directed and co-produced. He wrote
and directed the award winning short films 'The Freezer' and 'Dead
Letters' both supported by the New Zealand Film Commission that have
won International acclaim and are studied in in New Zealand High
schools. Paolo has starred as the lead in two feature films 'The Ugly'
and 'Stickmen' and has acted on numerous TV shows and been nominated
for his acting work on two occasions. As a playwright Paolo has penned
major Theatre shows. 'Little Che' based on the motorcycle diaries and
'Strange resting places' co-written with Rob Mokaraka and based on
family stories of the Maori Battalion in Italy in WW2, chosen to
represent New Zealand at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Paolo directs
TV commercials for Flying fish films and is represented by Johnson &
laird Management.
