One VFX artist freaks out while roasting the CGI spiders in Eight Legged Freaks. The horror comedy premiered in 2002 and follows residents of Prosperity, Arizona, who find that various spiders have become exposed to toxic chemicals, causing them to grow in size. Despite mixed reactions, the film has developed a strong fanbase over the years. It also features a cast that includes Scarlett Johansson and David Arquette, among others.

During Corridor Crew's recent video, VFX artists looked at scenes from Eight Legged Freaks and shared their reactions to the CGI used. In one sequence involving a bike chase, they poked fun at the animation, but added that some of the shots were well-made. When it came to his actual fear of spiders though, Wren appeared uneasy at the mall scene, where they crawled through a hole in the exterior and attacked one of the gates. The two exes have been spotted in public together recently which has sparked rumours the two are reconciling after getting divorced in 2010.

“They are both single right now and get along great,” a source told People. “Sean has always said that Robin is the love of his life. He regrets many things that happened during their marriage. He really enjoys spending time with her now.”

The actor was spotted out in public with his on-again off-again ex, Robin Wright for the first time in years at Lax airport over the weekend, Page Six reports.

Penn carried a black backpack along with cargo pants and black boots.

Wright was spotted close behind carrying a white puffer jacket in one arm.

The two were married from 1996 – 2010.

Angela Lansbury has died at the age of 96 in her home.

In a statement shared with People, her family wrote, “The children of Dame Angela Lansbury are sad to announce that their mother died peacefully in her sleep at home in Los Angeles at 1:30 a.m. today, Tuesday, October 11, 2022, just five days shy of her 97th birthday.”

“In addition to her three children, Anthony, Deirdre and David, she is survived by three grandchildren, Peter, Katherine and Ian, plus five great grandchildren and her brother, producer Edgar Lansbury,” the statement continued. “She was proceeded in death by her husband of 53 years, Peter Shaw. A private family ceremony will be held at a date to be determined.”

Lansbury was well-known for her role as mystery novelist Jessica Fletcher on CBS’ “Murder, She Wrote”, but also had an extensive film and stage career.

Selena Gomez has opened up about her struggles with mental health in the first trailer for her new documentary, My Mind & Me.

The 30-year-old singer and actor said she is “grateful to be alive” in the trailer, shared on Monday 10 October, in honour of World Mental Health Day.

The Apple TV+ documentary is set to cover six years of Gomez’s life and explore her battles with mental health, lupus and her kidney transplant.

In 2015, Gomez shared she was diagnosed with lupus – a long-term, incurable condition that impacts the immune system – and in 2017, she underwent a life-saving kidney transplant.

She has also been diagnosed with depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder.

In the trailer, Gomez tells herself: “Be who you are, Selena, no one cares about what you’re doing. It’s about who I am. Being Ok with where I am. I am grateful to be alive.”

The actor and mother of Sean, Chris and Michael Penn died on Sunday (9 October) at her Malibu, California home, according to her publicist.

On Monday 10 October, singer Michael tweeted a photo of his mother with the caption: “We lost mom yesterday.”

Born in New York on 16 October 1927, Ryan met fellow actor Leo Penn in 1975 at rehearsals for the production of The Iceman Cometh. They got married within months and were together for 41 years until Leo’s death in 1998.

Eileen Ryan, an actress who appeared on Broadway and in films and TV shows in collaborations with her late husband, actor-director Leo Penn, and her two-time Oscar-winning son, Sean Penn, died Sunday at her home in Malibu, a publicist announced. She was 94.

Survivors also include another son, composer-songwriter Michael Penn. Her youngest boy, actor Chris Penn, died in 2006.

Ryan gave up her acting career — once turning down the lead in a John Frankenheimer-directed film — to become a full-time mother. However, she returned to take small parts in such projects as At Close Range (1986), where she played the grandmother of characters portrayed by Sean and Christopher.

One of three sisters, Eileen Annucci was born in New York on Oct. 16, 1927. She made her Broadway debut in 1953 in Sing Till Tomorrow, then worked alongside Judith Anderson, George C. Scott and Larry Hagman in 1958 in Comes a Day.

Miles created a string of incredibly memorable, very New York characters, often with very little screen time. She was on the screen for six minutes in Midnight Cowboy (1969), about five and a half minutes in Farewell, My Lovely (1975), and she was nominated as Best Supporting Actress for both. Give ‘em Hell, Malone is a noir throwback film that is going to be premiering at Cannes in a couple of weeks, and we here at Screen Rant have the first trailer for the film [Warning: it's a red-band trailer, strictly for adults only!!!].

The film stars Thomas Jane and Ving Rhames, as a private dick and a gangster respectively, each on the hunt for a suitcase containing a mysterious secret which (if I’ve understood the trailer correctly) will instantly remind noir-lovers of the classic noir film, Kiss Me Deadly.

Star Wars fans pay special attention while you watch the trailer: there’s a little symphonic Easter-egg buried in there just for you guys.

Two things I instantly like about this movie: first, the fact that the guy locked in the trunk of the car says “Suck my Sinatra,” (1:55); second, the side-boob shot of actress Elsa Pataky (Snakes on a Plane) (1:38). Yum.
