Alexander Rybak is going to the movies.
Alexander crushed the competition in 2009’s ‘Eurovision Song Contest’ with his song ‘Fairytale’, but that’s not enough for this young musician, because later this year he’ll be gracing the silver screen in the movie “Yohan”. Before he set off on his own fairytale by conquering Europe with his winning song, he took a small part in the Norwegian movie called “Yohan”, which is a story is set in late 1800’s about a young boy (Robin Pedersen Daniel) who is sent away from his family in order to work on a farm to earn money. He experiences many hardships and overcomes his fears by relying on bravery and hope to make the best of his circumstances. The film is based on various true stories and has been shot in both Norwegian and English.
